What to expect on your initial visit?

We want to make your first visit as pleasant as possible. Greater Pittsburgh Vascular Associates treat our patients in a warm and compassionate manner. When you visit us for the first time, you will be seen by one of our vascular physicians, Dr. Lamm or Dr. Geskin. They will do a complete evaluation with an emphasis on your vascular history. Each doctor will use his or her evaluation along with any prior test results to form a plan of care that may include ordering appropriate testing and prescribing compression stockings. Usually, the doctor will order an ultrasound, which can be conveniently done right in our office, to assess venous anatomy. After the ultrasound is done, you will see your physician once again to review the results and discuss possible treatment options.
