About Dr. C. Michael Brown
C. Michael Brown MD, FACC is a Board Certified Cardiovascular Physician. His areas of interest include complex coronary interventions, the treatment of peripheral vascular disease and venous disease.
His credentials include board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Brown attended Bellarmine College where he attained a B.A. in Biology and participated in the ROTC program through the University of Louisville. He then attended medical school at the University of Louisville, followed by a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the Medical College of Ohio. Upon completion of his residencies, he practiced Pediatrics and Internal Medicine in the US Army at Womack Army Medical Center, Ft. Bragg N.C. His time in the Military included a deployment as Battalion Surgeon for the 82nd Airborne Division in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Brown went on to complete fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Pittsburgh’s Allegheny General Hospital.
