Cardiovascular disease is a result of complex interplay between genetics, dietary habits, lifestyle and aging. The manifestations of cardiovascular disease are also vast and range from difficulty breathing, chest pain to something catastrophic like sudden cardiac death. Cardiovascular health should be a concern for everybody.
As your cardiologist it is my goal to provide you with a comprehensive risk assessment and strategies for improving your cardiovascular health. I firmly believe that lifestyle and dietary modifications go a long way in achieving this goal. While establishing a practically achievable lifestyle and dietary goal is important for all patients, some patients with advanced cardiovascular disease need a lot more than preventive and medical therapy.
We offer all the modern cardiovascular interventional procedures including coronary and peripheral vascular angioplasty and stenting, varicose vein treatment with laser ablation, pacemaker insertion, valve replacement, coronary artery bypass surgery. While these procedures are miraculous and life saving for certain advanced cardiac conditions, they are associated with certain risks. Therefore we use these invasive procedures very judiciously based on guidelines from American college of cardiology and American heart association.
